Funding environmental projects across the globe

EarthWatch

The Earthwatch Institute is a non-profit organization that works for the betterment of Earth's future. Since 1971, they have supported scientific research by giving volunteers the opportunity to take part in scientific research projects throughout the globe. Every year, more than 4000 volunteers take part in EarthWatch assisted field projects in areas such as wildlife conservation, marine science, rainforest ecology, archaeology, and more. These expeditions provide a fantastic opportunity for people from all walks of life to actually assist in earth friendly projects; to get hands on and make a difference.

With 150 staff members and charitable donations of around 15 million dollars a year, the organization is headquarted in the USA, with other offices in Japan, Australia and England.
